How To Get The Most Important Piece Of Your Profile Right.

rate members online dating profile photos

Your profile photo is the most important part of your online dating profile. This is the first thing a
woman see when she visits your profile. Always use your best photo as your primary profile photo,
but not the one YOU think is the best…

Take your digital camera and shoot many photos of yourself from all different angels and with
different face expressions – smile, cute, cool, – and have a woman (a girl friend or your sister…) look
at them and decide which one is best. Women look at them differently than you. You will be surpriced
to see which pictures she chooses as the best – it’s almost never the same as you would think.

Don’t ask your mother though… lol. She will see all the pics of her baby as the best… and that ain’t
helping.

Another great way to see which of your photos women likes best is to test them on LikeMyPhoto.com.
On this site you can upload your profile pictures and have 1000s of women rate them from 1 – 10. As
primary profile picture I always use a picture rated over 9.

You also get to rate womens member photos. Just click on the number that best matches how you feel
about the photo on the screen. This is is fun and you might get hooked on it. On LikeMyPhoto.com you
can actually meet the women you are looking at by clicking on the ‘meet this person’ link and register on FriendFinder.

You Only Have 2 seconds…

When a woman visits your online dating profile you have exactly 2 seconds to make that important
first impression… only 2 seconds. In the real world you maybe have op to 10 seconds or more, but
in online dating you only have 2 seconds.

The first three things a woman sees when she visits your online profile is your photo, your user ID
and your headline. You can have the coolest killer profile text, but it doesn’t really do you any good
if the woman never gets to see it.

If the woman doesn’t like your photo, you have a weird user ID or a boring headline, she will moove
on as fast as she came and she never reads the rest of your profile. As I said… you have only 2
seconds to make the first impression.

The Photo is the most important thing. Your primary profilepicture have to be engaging. Have nice
headshot, look directly in to the camera and lean a little forward… that shows interestand is engaging.
Smile a little… not over the top though so it seems needy.

The second thing she sees is your user ID. Make that somethingabout YOU. Make it interesting, easy to
remember and easy to spell.Avoid using too many numbers or your birthdate.

The headline is the most important and critical part of yourprofile. This the last bit of your first impression,
so make itclickable. Don’t use cliches or statements like ‘I don’t know why I’m doing this’. If you are in
doudt, start by using a favorite song lyric or a quotation. You can always change it later…

How To Create Your Online Tagline

Your tag line can be clever or descriptive of you. There are a number of ways to be inspired and I suggest being thought provoking and/or different. Many people use quotes, a line from a movie, a line from a song; however, if you like it, many others will as well. Try for unique as you will stand out. Your tagline It needs to be positive, upbeat and enticing
Whatever you do, don’t be negative i.e. “Lonely Heart Seeks”, or “Desperately in need of”. Strive for originality. Opening lines such as “Looking for my Soul mate” or “Hey Sexy” or even better “I work hard, and play harder”, or “I might be the one you are looking for” are far too common and give a bad first impression. While you can be ‘seductive’ don’t go for racy (racy is appropriate on adult dating sites).

Here are a couple of examples:

“If love is the answer, sex raises some pretty good questions.” ~ Entertaining
“I’m sorry, Mr. Right could not make it, I’ll be covering for him this evening.” ~ Humorous
“Looking for a soft warm breeze to blow the clouds away.” ~ Romantic
“If you were a cookie, what kind would you be?” – Inquisitive
“Gourmet wants to cook – what is up to you!” ~ Witty

Like most things in life, if you want to succeed then paying attention to the details is important. It is not always easy to come up with original ideas; however, there are a lot of sources you can start from. Go to a few dating sites and sign up for a free membership (perfectonlinematch.com) can provide you with an overview of a number of dating sites.

-Take a look at what catches your eye.
-Review profiles from both men and women.
-Jot down what caught your eye.
-Now how could you improve the tagline and/or make it your own.
-Don’t copy existing taglines as it shows a lack of originality.

Good luck!
